I&#8217;ve achieved more this year than I think I ever have in a 12-month period. I&#8217;ve also been blessed by having amazing supporters and collaborators in my life that in a sense have always been there, but now they&#8217;re closer than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In terms of releases, this year I have put out:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/carylarcher.com\/discography\/if-that-isnt-love\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">If That Isn&#8217;t Love<\/a> (Single) &#8211; February<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/carylarcher.com\/discography\/last-dance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Last Dance<\/a> (Single) &#8211; May<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><del>Electric (Single) &#8211; August<\/del>&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/EFYdt5Q2BvE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I wasn&#8217;t able to complete this one in time, but one of the B-sides,&nbsp;<em>Bloom<\/em> made its way onto a later release<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/ca\/album\/change-ep\/id1441689138\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Change<\/a> by James Mercer (Producer) &#8211; November<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/carylarcher.com\/discography\/tustonbury-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Caryl @ TUSTONBURY 2<\/a> (&#8216;Live&#8217; EP) &#8211; December<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/\/carylarcher.bandcamp.com\/album\/defiantly-delicate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Defiantly Delicate<\/a> (Mini-Album) &#8211; December<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, I think I can safely say that as productive a year as I&#8217;ve ever had. Except perhaps 2015 where I put out a backlog of stuff including Digital Delight and The Homemaker Sessions. But this year I really made a good effort with promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image size-medium wp-image-6601\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/carylarcher.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/cards-300x191.png\" alt=\"Download cards Instagram\" class=\"wp-image-6601\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Maximum Marketing Effort!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This year I put in some big effort for IRL promo and made more than 300 Christmas gift tags with a download link to Defiantly Delicate. I gave them out at church services, and then pushed them through an arbitrarily chosen set of letterboxes in the Fleetwood area. I bruised by hand a bit, but it felt amazing to finally have handed them all out!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image size-medium wp-image-6604\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/carylarcher.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Photo-31-12-2018-23-06-48-300x267.jpg\" alt=\"Hot chocolate treat\" class=\"wp-image-6604\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">My well-deserved hot chocolate treat<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>So, tonight I enjoyed the hot chocolate set thing I got from my Mum for Christmas.
